When I first learned to twist seams, I was amazed at how the back was a miniature replica of the front. Having limited choices can be a good thing. It makes us think differently and come up with exciting new options. According to Sujata Shah, when you don't have something, borrow from the neighbor. She meant that if you don't have red, use orange or pink, an adjacent hue. I agree with her. It adds amazing richness to our work. Sending lots of love and good wishes in your new home.Preetihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15363550140143647850noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3816121512164080677.post-30038411728307638322024-03-06T21:35:32.548-05:002024-03-06T21:35:32.548-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.Rebecca Gracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05891097077543213720noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3816121512164080677.post-29558523695609131452024-03-06T21:35:08.800-05:002024-03-06T21:35:08.800-05:00Thank you! :-)Thank you! :-)Rebecca Gracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05891097077543213720noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3816121512164080677.post-7887579437090675312024-03-06T12:27:46.949-05:002024-03-06T12:27:46.949-05:00I just happened upon you and I love how natural yo...I just happened upon you and I love how natural you explain things. I’m starting 12.5” paper pieced pineapple blocks. Still cutting fabric stage. But I’ve been brain storming (scarey lol) about not being able to butt up the seams. Do you think every other block, I could iron seams in? I’m just trying to picture if that would even work. Thank you! Moving is always chaotic and stressful, so it's wonderful to see you with new fabric and a quilt plan even if that's not what you end up doing. It's all good, and all fun!
